- History of Flight:
On July 4, 2026, at about 0945 local time, a Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee B, N386AB, registered to Plane and Simple Leasing LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Forest Lake Airport (25D), Forest Lake, Minnesota. The pilot was not injured. The local banner-tow flight originated at 0939.
The FAA reported: "Aircraft experiencing issues on climb, ditched the banner and made a forced landing ending up inverted in a wooded area."
ADS-B data shows that the airplane was doing touch-and-go(es) and the accident likely occurred during a second go-around attempt from runway 13.
