On June 20, 2026, at about 1408 local time, a privately-registered Cessna 177 Cardinal, N2929X, sustained unknown damage when it veered off the taxiway and struck a taxiway light at Punta Gorda Airport (PGD/KPGD), Punta Gorda, Florida. There were no injuries. The flight originated from Winter Haven Municipal Airport - Gilbert Field (GIF/KGIF), 
Winter Haven, Florida, at 1319.

- History of Flight:
On June 20, 2026, at about 1028 local time, a 
Cessna 182S Skylane, N7270H, registered to Sundowners Inc, sustained unknown, but apparent substantial damage when it overrun runway 18 into a fence at the Wing South Airpark (FA37), Naples, Florida. The pilot was not injured.

The FAA reported that the airplane was departing when the pilot lost control and came to rest against a retaining wall damaging the left wing.

ADS-B data shows that the airplane accelerated up to 83 knots (groundspeed) before attempting an aborted takeoff. The airpark features a 4400 x 100 ft asphalt runway.

- History of Flight:
On June 20, 2026, at about 1405 local time, a Piper PA-28-181 Archer TX, N28949, registered to CAE Aviation Academy Phoenix LLC, sustained minor damage when it struck the propeller of an 
Epic Flight Academy Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP (N242EP) at Tucson International Airport (TUS/KTUS), Tucson, Arizona. The two occupants onboard the Piper were not injured. The local training flight originated from KTUS at 1359.

The FAA reported that the Piper was taxiing to park when its right wing struck the prop of the Cessna. ADS-B data shows that the Piper was taxing to the northeast towards the Epic Academy ramp before the data stopped.

On June 20, 2026, at about 2010 local time, a Sonex Onex, N151DK, registered to JDA Consulting LLC, sustained unknown damage following a forced landing on a road to an engine failure near Stilwell, Kansas. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Miami County Airport (K81), Paola, Kansas, at 1959.

On 20 February 2026, the airplane was involved in a forced landing near Olathe, Kansas, due to engine issues.

The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Las Animas Airport (TAD/KTAD), 
Trinidad, Colorado, at 1838.

The FAA reported: "Balloon was landing when it experienced a gust of wind, bounced on landing and ended up on its side."
