- History of Flight:
On July 4, 2026, at about 1400 local time, a Zipline P2 Zip drone, N3964G, registered to Zipline International Inc out of San Francisco, California, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in an incident near McKinney, Texas. There were no injuries.
The FAA reported that the drone was making a delivery for Walmart when it lost a propeller for unknown reasons.
Based on information provided by the company, this drone is equipped with 4 propellers mounted horizontally on the wing frame for VTOL capabilities and a single tail rotor for thrust.
