- History of Flight:
On July 2, 2026, at about 1930 local time, a de Havilland DHC-3T Vazar Turbine Otter, N424KT, registered to Rustair Inc and being operated by K2 Aviation, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Trapper Creek, Alaska. The pilot was not injured.
The FAA reported that the airplane experienced a tail wheel failure on take off from the Ruth Glacier.
