- History of Flight:
On July 1, 2026, at about 1345 local time, an Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100, N356N, registered to Nicholas Services LLC, sustained substantial damage when it struck a box truck while taxing to the ramp at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU/KRDU), Raleigh, North Carolina. The two pilots were not injured. The Part 135 on-demand flight originated from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT/KCLT), Charlotte, North Carolina, and was destined to KRDU.
Preliminary information indicates the airplane landed on runway 23R and was taxing to the ramp via taxiway C when the event happened.
