- History of Flight:
On June 30, 2026, at about 1915 local time, a Bellanca 17-30A Super Viking 300A, N28085, sustained substantial damage when it veered off the runway and struck runway lights at 05Y. The nose gear broke off, and the airplane incurred a propeller strike. There were no injuries.
The nearest airport was showing winds from 240° at 7 knots, gusting 15 knots.
The FAA reported that a Bellanca 17-30A with registration N82085 was involved, which traces back to a Piper. N28085 is the most likely correct registration.
