On May 12, 2026, at about 2034 local time, a privately-registered Grumman American AA-5 Traveler, N5832L, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Riverside-Rubidoux-Flabob Airport (RIR/KRIR), Jurupa Valley, California. The FAA reported: "Aircraft unable to turn on the airport lights, landed adjacent to runway and spun out."
