Beechcraft J35 Bonanza, N8396D, incident occurred on July 2, 2026, near La Grange, Texas

- History of Flight:
On July 2, 2026, at about 1419 local time, a Beechcraft J35 Bonanza, N8396D, registered to Mund Enterprises LLC, sustained unknown, but apparent minor damage when it was involved in a forced landing near La Grange, Texas. The pilot was not injured.

The FAA reported that the airplane experienced engine issues and landed on a highway.

Local police reported that: "Plane was unable to make it to the La Grange Airport and was forced to land on the eastbound lanes of Highway 71 before pulling off of the highway. The Federal Aviation Administration was also notified of the incident. The plane landed successfully with no injuries or significant damage."
