- History of Flight:
On July 9, 2026, at about 1728 local time, a Piper PA-30-160 Twin Comanche, N8154Y, registered to Rawson Aviation LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Tulsa Riverside Airport (RVS/KRVS), Tulsa, Oklahoma. The flight instructor and student pilot suffered serious injuries. The local training flight originated at 1700.

The FAA reported that: "Aircraft crashed under unknown circumstances on landing and flipped over."

Videographic evidence shows that the airplane was coming in for a landing on runway 19L when it bounced and entered a high nose up attitude. The airplane appeared to be stable until the right wing dropped, the outer right wing impacted the ground followed by the nose and the rest of the airplane. The airplane came to rest inverted next to the initial impact point and there was no post crash fire.

The 1653 METAR indicated winds from 200° at 14 knots, gusting 24 knots.

- History of Flight:
On July 9, 2026, at about 2035 local time, a Cessna 150G, N3773J, registered to Bertrand Aviation LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Wilson, Kansas. The pilot was not injured.

The FAA reported: "Aircraft ran out of fuel and struck a power line while attempting to land in a field."

Preliminary Flightaware tracking history shows that the airplane was first observed near Moundridge, Kansas, flying south at an altitude of 5,700 ft. Around 32m later, the airplane was observed on a descent towards 1,800 ft near Wichita, Kansas, before it entered a climbing turn to the northwest. About 1h48m into the flight, the airplane entered a right turn to the east near Hays Regional Airport (KHYS), Hays, Kansas. About 2h30m into the flight, the airplane was last seen cruising at 3,600 ft over a highway before the track terminated north of Wilson, Kansas.

According to local police, the "43-year-old Texas pilot" ran out of fuel and crashed into a field.

According to the Cessna 150G POH, the (standard wing, 13 gal each) total usable fuel was 22.5 gallons.

- History of Flight:
On July 9, 2026, at about 2132 local time, a Cessna 441 Conquest II, N441SK, registered to N441SK LLC, and being operated by Security Aviation, sustained unknown damage when it suffered a right main landing gear collapse during an emergency landing on runway 7R at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC/PANC), Anchorage, Alaska. The pilot and two passengers were not injured. The flight originated from Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC/PANC), 
Anchorage, Alaska, at 1856.

Preliminary information indicates the airplane conducted several flybys over the runway because the nose landing gear was not extending (the door was opening, but the gear was not going down). During the emergency landing, the nose gear appeared to be extended, but the right gear collapsed and the right wing skidded across the runway. The occupants exited the airplane without further event.

- History of Flight:
On July 9, 2026, at about 1852 local time, a privately-registered Stoddard-Hamilton Glasair I-RG, N141CG, sustained substantial damage in a forced landing near Utica, Minnesota. The pilot suffered minor injuries. The personal flight originated from Rochester International Airport (RST/KRST), 
Rochester, Minnesota, at 1823.

The FAA reported: "Aircraft crashed under unknown circumstances after making a forced landing on a road going across a driveway and came to rest against a tree." Local police stated that the aircraft crashed due to a loss of engine power.

ADS-B data shows that the airplane was cruising at 3,600 ft when it disappeared from flight coverage.

- History of Flight:
On July 9, 2026, at about 0745 local time, a privately-registered Kitfox S7 Super Sport, N124M, sustained unknown damage when it overturned under unknown circumstances in the Blairs Bay near Hague, New York. The pilot and passenger were not injured.

The FAA reported that the airplane came to rest inverted for unknown reasons.

The pilot, aged 60, held a recreational pilot certificate with a rating for airplane single engine land. He also held a repairman/experimental aircraft builder certificate for a Cozy Mark IV aircraft serial number 1204D. The pilot's third class FAA medical was last issued on 9/2001.
