On October 16, 2026, at about 1823 local time, a privately-registered Mooney M20E Super 21, N6087Q, sustained unknown damage when it suffered a landing gear collapse during a landing attempt on runway 31R and subsequent propeller strike at Reid-Hillview Airport of Santa Clara County (RHV/KRHV), San Jose, California. The pilot was not injured.
