- History of Flight:
On October 16, 2026, at about 1310 local time, a Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP, N234EP, registered to Epic Aviation Inc and doing business as the Epic Flight Academy, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in a landing accident at Herlong Recreational Airport (HEG/KHEG), Jacksonville, Florida. There were no injuries. The local flight originated from KHEG.
