- History of Flight:
On October 19, 2026, at about 1718 local time, a privately-registered Lake LA-4-200 Buccaneer, N117RF, sustained substantial damage when it fueled and then caught fire during engine startup after landing at Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF/KSGF), Springfield, Missouri. The pilot and passenger received minor injuries. The NTSB is investigating.
