Van's RV-6, N443JB, incident occurred on August 30, 2026, at Licking County Regional Airport (VTA/KVTA), Newark, Ohio

- History of Flight:
On August 30, 2026, at about 1007 local time, a privately-registered Van's RV-6, N443JB, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in an incident at KVTA. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Ohio State University Airport (OSU/KOSU), 
Columbus, Ohio, at 0954.

The FAA reported that the airplane was on landing and the wheel pan broke off, rolled over the pan and severed the brake line and damaged a strut.
