On September 1, 2026, at about 1154 local time, a Cessna 172M Skyhawk, N64317, registered to Spernak Airways Inc and being operated on a Part 135 flight, sustained minor damage when it struck a moose on landing at Tyonek Airport (TYE), Tyonek, Alaska. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Merrill Field Airport (MRI/PAMR), Anchorage, Alaska, at 1125.
