On September 3, 2026, at about 2004 local time, a Piper PA-28-180B Cherokee, N7635W, registered to Dependable Aviation LLC, sustained substantial damage when it crashed into wooded area under unknown circumstances near Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport (PUJ/KPUJ), Atlanta, Georgia. The flight instructor and student pilot suffered serious injuries. The local flight originated 1946.
It appears the airplane was on its initial climb from runway 13 when the accident happened.
