On August 30, 2026, at about 1635 local time, a Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP, N421ER, registered to CC Aviation Inc, sustained unknown damage when it was taxiing to a high speed run up area and it hit a sound wall at Santa Monica Airport (SMO/KSMO), Santa Monica, California. The pilot and passenger were not injured.
