- History of Flight:
On September 1, 2026, at about 0730 local time, a Piper PA-28-161 Cherokee Warrior II, N47899, registered to Nationwide Aviation LLC, sustained substantial damage when it attempted to abort take off and veered off runway impacting a ditch and incurring a propeller strike. The pilot was not injured.
The NTSB is investigating. Winds were from 230° at 3 knots with no gusts.
