- History of Flight:
On October 3, 2026, at about 0846 local time, a privately-registered Head Balloons AX8-88B, N4502A, sustained substantial damage when it drifted into power lines just before touching down in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The balloon was being operated on a local flight as part of the Day 1 of Balloon Fiesta.
