- History of Flight:
On August 13, 2026, at about 1117 local time, a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver, N777DH, registered to Kalinin Partners LLC and being operated by the Alaska Seaplanes Service, sustained substantial damage in a forced landing shortly after takeoff from Juneau International Airport (JNU/PAJN), Juneau, Alaska. The pilot was not injured.
The FAA reported that the airplane lost power shortly after take off and landed in the river and floated into a log jam.

Preliminary ADS-B data shows that the airplane departed the water runway at PAJN and barely climbed before making the forced landing in the river.
The airplane was subsequently recovered by helicopter. The left wing appears to have sustained substantial damage.
