- History of Flight:
On August 14, 2026, at about 1920 local time, a Taylorcraft DCO-65, N48446, registered to Roam Air LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Copper City, Michigan. The pilot sustained serious injuries, and passenger suffered minor injuries.

The FAA reported that the airplane lost power on take off, stalled, touched down on the left wing and landing gear detached.

A local newspaper contacted the NTSB who stated: "Preliminary information indicates the airplane lost power during takeoff from a private grass strip due to unknown circumstances."
