Cessna 172R Skyhawk II, N2173Z, and Cessna 172N Skyhawk II, N734PG, incident occurred on August 12, 2026, at Livermore Municipal Airport (LVK/KLVK), Livermore, California

- History of Flight:
On August 12, 2026, at about 1340 local time, a Cessna 172R Skyhawk II (A1), N2173Z, registered to Tegridy Equipment Leasing LLC, and a Cessna 172N Skyhawk II (A2), N734PG, registered to American Aircraft Brokers LLC, both sustained unknown damage following a ground collision at Livermore Municipal Airport (LVK/KLVK), Livermore, California. The pilot and passenger onboard each aircraft were not injured.

The FAA reported that A1's left wing struck A2's while it was taxiing for departure. The FAA also reported that A2 was stationary in the run-up area and was struck by A1.
