- History of Flight:
On July 17, 2026, at about 1105 local time, a privately-registered Van’s RV-7A, N987CW, sustained substantial damage when it porpoised during landing on runway 15 and flipped over at Crest Airfield (S36), Kent, Washington. The pilot suffered minor injuries. The flight originated from Evergreen Sky Ranch Airport (51WA), Black Diamond, Washington, at 1101.
The NTSB is investigating.
