- History of Flight:
On July 20, 2026, at about 1100 local time, a Robinson R44 Raven II, N224RH, registered to Cedar Ridge Aviation LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Red Oak, Iowa. The pilot was not injured.
The FAA reported that the helicopter attempted to take off while the chemical load hose was still connected and impacted the field inverted. The NTSB is investigating the event as a class 4 case.
The FAA and NTSB initially reported a wrong registration (N244RH).
