Piper PA-28-180 Cherokee C, N454MD, incident occurred on July 20, 2026, at Bulverde Airpark (1T8), San Antonio, Texas

- History of Flight:
On July 20, 2026, at about 1349 local time, a privately-registered Piper PA-28-180 Cherokee C, N454MD, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in an incident at Bulverde Airpark (1T8), San Antonio, Texas. The flight instructor suffered minor injuries, and student pilot was not injured. The local training flight was originating at the time.

The FAA reported that the airplane experienced an engine issue and landed in a creek just after departure. ADS-B data shows that the airplane was engaged in touch-and-go practice at the airport when the incident happened.
