- History of Flight:
On September 26, 2026, at about 0914 local time, a Lancair Evolution, N6RU, registered to Sureal Vision Ltd, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Albany International Airport (ALB/KALB), Albany, New York. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The local flight originated at 0821.

The FAA reported that the airplane veered off runway 28 following a nose gear collapse and suffered a propeller strike. The damage was reported as substantial.

KALB is a towered public airport located 6 miles northwest of Albany, New York. The airport field elevation is 284.8 ft. The airport features two runway,s runway 1/19 (asphalt/grooved 8500 x 150 ft) and runway 10/28 (asphalt/grooved 7200 x 150 ft).

At 1251, the airport was reporting winds 330 at 4 knots and light rain.
