- History of Flight:
On September 26, 2026, at about 1802 local time, a privately-registered Piper PA-28R-180 Cherokee Arrow, N7623J, sustained minor damage when it landed with the gear partially down (which collapsed) on runway 24 at the McClellan-Palomar Airport (CRQ/KCRQ), Carlsbad, California. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The local flight originated at 1432.
The airplane circled around the airport for over 2 hours before coming in for an emergency landing.
