Diamond DA40 NG Star, N686MF, accident occurred on September 4, 2026, at Leesburg International Airport (LEE/KLEE), Leesburg, Florida

- History of Flight:
On September 4, 2026, at about 0810 local time, a Diamond DA40 NG Star, N686MF, registered to Diamond Aircraft Sales USA Inc and being operated by MyFlight, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Leesburg International Airport (LEE/KLEE), Leesburg, Florida. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The local flight originated at 0753.

The FAA reported that the airplane experienced a hard landing on runway 13 and veered off the right side of the runway into the grass. It came to rest ~200 feet southwest with damage to the nose gear. The NTSB is investigating.
