- History of Flight:
On September 5, 2026, at about 1754 local time, a Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP, N172FR, registered to Hetrick Air Services Inc, sustained substantial damage following a porpoised hard landing on runway 15 at Lawrence Regional Airport (LWC/KLWC), Lawrence, Kansas. The pilot was not injured. The local flight originated at 1455.
The FAA reported that the landing resulted in a propeller strike with damage to the engine and firewall.
