- History of Flight:
On August 5, 2026, at about 0830 local time, a privately-registered Mooney M20F Executive 21, N7768M, sustained minor damage when it landed on runway 17 and suffered a nose gear collapse, incurring a propeller strike at Scott Valley Airport (A30), Fort Jones, California. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The flight originated from Murray Field, (EKA/KEKA), 
Eureka, California, at 0737.

Preliminary Flightaware ADS-B data shows that the airplane was cruising at 11,000 ft when it entered a descent in the vicinity of A30 and landed on runway 17 following a shallow pattern.
