- History of Flight:
On June 24, 2026, at about 1615 local time, a privately-registered Navion H Rangemaster, N2509T, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in an incident at Warwick Municipal Airport (N72), Warwick, New York. The pilot and passenger were not injured.
The FAA reported that the airplane experienced engine issues and attempted to make an emergency landing at N72 and went off the end of the runway into a swamp.
ADS-B data shows that the airplane was cruising at 3,700 ft when it initiated a descent towards N72.
The nearest airport was showing winds from 260° at knots 10, gusting 15 knots.
