- History of Flight:
On June 21, 2026, at about 0800 local time, a privately-registered Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser, N2586M, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near North Pole, Alaska. The pilot was not injured.
The FAA reported that the left wing struck a telephone pole causing the right wing to strike the ground. The NTSB is investigating.
