On June 21, 2026, at about 0826 local time, a privately-registered Mooney M20R Ovation 2 GX, N205BF, sustained unknown damage when it suffered a nose gear collapse during a landing attempt on runway 8 at San Marcos Regional Airport (HYI/KHYI), Austin, Texas. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Kerrville Airport (ERV/KERV), Kerrville, Texas, at 0759.
