- History of Flight:
On May 25, 2026, at about 1654 local time, a privately-registered Cessna 172H Skyhawk, N2632L, 
sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Trigger Gap Airport (17A), Berryville, Arkansas. The pilot sustained minor injuries, one passenger sustained serious injuries, and one passenger sustained unknown injuries.

The FAA reported that the "power deemed insufficient to clear the treeline, attempted to descend back onto runway resulting in a hard landing."

The airport features a single turf runway which is 3000 x 75 ft. The airport field elevation is 1650 ft.
