On May 23, 2026, at about 0721 local time, a Bell 206L-4 LongRanger IV, N917SU, registered to, and being operated by the Southern Utah University Aviation (SUU), sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Cedar City Airport (CDC/KCDC), Cedar City, Utah. The pilot and passenger received minor injuries.
The FAA reported: "Aircraft lifting off for taxi, lost control and impacted the ground."
