- History of Flight:
On October 1, 2026, at about 1450 local time, a Beechcraft S35 Bonanza, N5849K, registered to Rich Lucas Aircraft Sales LLC, sustained unknown damage when it experienced a gear collapse during a landing attempt on runway 6 at Spruce Creek Airport (7FL6), Daytona Beach, Florida. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The local flight originated at 1246.
In the four months prior to the incident, the airplane was only seen twice doing ground movements at the airport.
