- History of Flight:
On August 15, 2026, at about 1450 local time, a Pipistrel Taurus Electro G2.5, N984TP, registered to Texas Soaring Bats LLC, sustained unknown damage when it departed controlled flight, lost control and spiraled down onto private property near Hempstead, Texas. The pilot suffered minor injuries. The local flight presumably originated from Soaring Club of Houston Gliderport (89TA), Waller, Texas.
