On August 15, 2026, at about 1146 local time, a Piper PA-44-180 Seminole, N302VM, registered to Washington International Flight Academy LLC (WIFA), sustained unknown damage when it suffered a nose gear collapse on landing at Altoona-Blair County Airport (AOO/KAOO), Altoona, Pennsylvania. The pilot and three passengers were not injured. The flight originated from Hagerstown Regional Airport-Richard A Henson Field (HGR/KHGR), Hagerstown, Maryland, at 1126.
