- History of Flight:
On August 19, 2026, at about 0641 local time, a privately-registered Piper PA-24-260 Comanche, N8639P, was apparently not damaged following a forced landing to open farmfield terrain near Byers, Colorado. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The flight originated from Colorado Air and Space Port (CFO/KCFO), Denver, Colorado.
Oil pressure problem. Later flown out? Perfect landing.
