- History of Flight:
On August 17, 2026, at about 1500 local time, a privately-registered Aviat A-1B Husky, N299CA, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Pilot Grove, Minnesota. The pilot and passenger suffered minor injuries.
The FAA reported that the airplane was on a photo mission when one of the flaps broke. The airplane subsequently made an emergency landing in a field and flipped over. The NTSB is investigating the event.
