- History of Flight:
On July 23, 2026, at about 1259 local time, a Piper PA-28-181 Archer II, N80926, registered to Flight Leasing Corp, sustained unknown, but apparent minor damage when the engine cowling separated on departure from runway 9 and clipped the propeller. The airplane entered a right hand turn and landed back on a taxiway. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The flight was originating at the time.
The airplane departed the airport the following day on a flight to Punta Gorda.
