- History of Flight:
On July 22, 2026, at about 1230 local time, a Cessna 180K Skywagon, N180LW, registered to Northstar Adventures LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Lake Hood Airport (LHD/PALH), Anchorage, Alaska. The pilot and passenger suffered minor injuries. The flight was originating at the time, and was destined to Merrill Field (MRI/PAMR), Anchorage, Alaska.
The FAA reported that the airplane "took of from Lake Hood and engine failed". ADS-B data shows that the airplane departed the runway and immediately entered a descending right hand turn before impacting a building.
