- History of Flight:
On May 1, 2026, at about 1604 local time, a Beechcraft C23 Sundowner, N18516, registered to Maine Instrument Flight, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Bangor International Airport (BGR/KBGR), Bangor, Maine. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The local flight originated from KBGR.
The FAA reported: "Aircraft experienced engine issues after takeoff, returned to airport and went off the end of the runway."
