- History of Flight:
On April 18, 2026, at about 2118 local time, a Piper PA-28-181 Archer TX, N643FT, registered to and being operated by the Florida Institute of Technology, sustained susbstantial damage following a forced landing near Jupiter, Florida. The student pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Palm Beach-Palm Beach County Airport (LNA/KLNA), Palm Beach, Florida, at 2051, and was destined to Melbourne International Airport (MLB/KMLB), 
Melbourne, Florida.

The student pilot, aged 19, held a private pilot certificate, issued/updated on 8/18/2025, with a rating for airplane single engine land. His first class FAA medical was issued on 12/2024.
