On April 18, 2026, at about 1136 local time, a Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP, N237TH, registered to WingsLeasing LLC, and being operated by the California Aeronautical University, sustained unknown damage following a forced landing due to engine issues near Bakersfield, California. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Meadows Field Airport (KBFL), Bakersfield, California.
