Piper PA-28-181 Archer TX, N28949, and Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP, N242EP, incident occurred on June 20, 2026, at Tucson International Airport (TUS/KTUS), Tucson, Arizona

- History of Flight:
On June 20, 2026, at about 1405 local time, a Piper PA-28-181 Archer TX, N28949, registered to CAE Aviation Academy Phoenix LLC, sustained minor damage when it struck the propeller of an 
Epic Flight Academy Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP (N242EP) at Tucson International Airport (TUS/KTUS), Tucson, Arizona. The two occupants onboard the Piper were not injured. The local training flight originated from KTUS at 1359.

The FAA reported that the Piper was taxiing to park when its right wing struck the prop of the Cessna. ADS-B data shows that the Piper was taxing to the northeast towards the Epic Academy ramp before the data stopped.
