On June 20, 2026, at about 1408 local time, a privately-registered Cessna 177 Cardinal, N2929X, sustained unknown damage when it veered off the taxiway and struck a taxiway light at Punta Gorda Airport (PGD/KPGD), Punta Gorda, Florida. There were no injuries. The flight originated from Winter Haven Municipal Airport - Gilbert Field (GIF/KGIF), Winter Haven, Florida, at 1319.
