- History of Flight:
On September 13, 2026, at about 1429 local time, a privately-registered Van's RV-4, N293MS, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in a forced landing near Roswell, New Mexico. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from the Roswell International Air Center Airport (ROW/KROW), Roswell, New Mexico.
The FAA reported that the airplane was on a championship air race practice run when it declared an emergency due to engine issues and landed on a road.
