- History of Flight:
On September 13, 2026, at about 1440 local time, an Air Tractor AT-602, N686LA, registered to Ford Flying Service Inc, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Quitman, Georgia. The pilot was not injured. The aircraft was being operated on a local aerial application flight.
The FAA reported that the airplane struck a bird and crashed in a canal and post-crash fire.
Must have been one helluva big bird.
