Cirrus TRAC20 G6, N486AV, incident occurred on September 12, 2026, at Ak-Chin Regional Airport (A39), Maricopa, Arizona

- History of Flight:
On September 12, 2026, at about 1246 local time, a Cirrus TRAC20 G6, N486AV, registered to Westwind School of Aeronautics Phoenix LLC and doing business as United Aviation Academy, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in an incident at Ak-Chin Regional Airport (A39), Maricopa, Arizona. The flight instructor and two student pilots were not injured. The training flight originated from Gila Bend Municipal Airport (E63), 
Gila Bend, Arizona, at 1210.

The FAA reported that the airplane was conducting a simulated engine failure to the runway 22 when the engine stalled and landed adjacent to the runway.
