- History of Flight:
On September 23, 2026, at about 1919 local time, a Cessna 180J Skywagon, N7770K, registered to Air Craft LLC, sustained minor damage when it landed and veered off runway 33 hitting a sign at KSHR. The pilot was not injured. The local flight originated at 1820.
The airplane was involved in a ground loop accident on February 28, 2024, at Esler Field (ESF/KESF), Alexandria, Louisiana. The NTSB determined the probable cause at the time as the pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll with a gusting crosswind.
The airplane was involved in a ground loop accident on May 6, 2021, at Buffalo, Wyoming. The NTSB determined the probable cause at the time as the pilot's failure to maintain directional control during the takeoff roll, which resulted in a ground loop and collision with terrain.
The airplane was also involved in a ground loop on 8 March 1993 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
